Onge Patterns

mustard-pattern-and-white

Recently I’ve been experimenting with these kind of funky patterns, inspired by various things, firstly Matisse and his famous cut-outs, the falling leaves of Autumn and experiments in automatic drawing and letting my hand do all the work and my mind rest a little! I just scan them in and tend to colour the spiky shapes in black by hand, but the rest of the block colours are just quick experiments in Photoshop! So easy and simple but they are cheerful little patterns!
